It Was Fun!
Hey guys, We have made it to the end, and man, oh man, has it been a fun oneπ. For the last day, I couldn't miss the beautiful sunrise! I decided that I would leave the Airbnb when I finished at the pier since I had to check out at 10 am anyway. This time, unfortunately, the dock wasn't as lovely as the previous days. There were many more people (which makes sense, it's Saturday), but it was not peaceful at all. While I was sitting on the bench, minding my own business, there were a group of young boys, maybe 7-8 of them, and they decided to come and stand right in front of me, so I was forced to move from my seat because I was not about to deal with a group of preppy white boys this early in the morning. Thankfully there was a spot open on the opposite side, so I just went over there and finished watching the sunrise. Oh, and did I mention, the SAME Indian guy from before was there TOO. I swear I can not get away from that dudeπ€¦πΎββοΈπ€¦πΎββοΈ. Thankfully he started to chat with the guys instead of me, so that was a plus. So I did not stay as long as I usually would because the number of people just continued to increase, and it just got on my nerves, so I just left.
After that, I got on the road to head back home, but I decided to stop at Baker's Pride Bakery, and I ended up getting some huge muffins and a danish pastry. I don't recall ever having a lemon poppy seed muffin before, but that one ended up being my favorite. I wish I had saved that one for last.π£π£ After that, I was on the road again. While driving, I received a notification about check out from my Airbnb, and that kind of upset me because if I had to do something specific, I would have had to turn all the way around or risk getting a charge. Thankfully all I had to do was click a button to check out, but I wish the host would have just told me that in the first place, but C'est la vie.
Thankfully the ride was smooth. Is it just me, or does going back always seem quicker than comingβjust a thought. During the drive, I decided to stop by Lane's. It's a popular place in the south with peaches and pecans, homemade peach ice cream, peach cobblers, pies, beverages, pecans, etc. It's pretty neat. While there I got more souvenirs for me and the fam ππ. I also had lunch there. It was supposed to be a Philly cheesesteak but tasted like teriyaki. It tasted okay, but my brain was not expecting that flavor from a Philly, and I wish I were informed prior.
Then I headed on out and made it back home safely. When I got there, my family and friends surprised me with a small Welcome back party, seafood and lots of sweets and flowers and a picture collage. It was SUPER -DUPER AWESOME and SWEET!! π₯°π₯°π₯°ππ I love those guys!! I thought it was funny because they gave me the same things I brought back for them ππ. After that, we hung out for a while, had some fun, drinks and then I crashed with a smile on my face ππ , and no, I did not put my stuff away. ππ I had the most AMAZING time on my trip, and I told myself that I would take myself on more vacations because I need to get out more and see the world. Not going to lie, when I saw my credit card bill, I was not that happy, but the amount of fun I had outweighed that by a long shot!!
Thank you guys so much for joining me on this crazy adventure!!! I appreciate every one of you and hope I get to hang with you guys again soon!!! So until next time, Don't be afraid to go for your dreams, ADVENTURE IS OUT THEREπππ - UP The movie !! Lady Dee, Signing Off ππΎππΎ
