Dear Father Christmas,  

My Christmas List Wish

 Toys, clothes, stylish cars, and lavish jewelry, you know how it goes. 

Set between Black Friday and Cyber Monday those deals can’t be passed up! 

Amid last minute trinkets, wrapping paper, gift boxes and tape!

Betwixt decorations, lights, garland, and bows! 

With stars, tinsel and holiday festivities! For

Christmas this year, I ask for a few simple things!

That special feeling of laughter and joy! 

That we hear the sound of world peace when it rings. 

And career success is re-occurring! 

That support is abundant and overflowing so effortlessly!

That love in all its forms and glory, be omnipotent, omnipresent and alive to tell it’s story. 

I ask of you, Dear Father Christmas this year,

 to release the aroma of happiness to those far and near! 

As we trade in our windbreakers for coats, and our sandals for snow boots, 

Our earbuds for ear muffs, and our shorts for long johns. 

My Christmas wish this year is just to spread a little cheer! 

When the magic starts and shopping gets out of hand, 

I know that you, Father Christmas of all people understand! 

The sprinkles and showers of grace here and there, the Happy Christmas to all,

and that’s ALL everywhere!

Father Christmas, my friend, 

my confidant and kin, I ask for these things be set to begin, 

Begin in a moment where there is no end! 

When April showers bring May flowers 

When the snow has melted and “Holidays” are no more

I ask of these things 

for all to enjoy! 

This Christmas list is an ode to all! 

For the kind hearted and non-believers,  

for the tapped out, and the tapped in!

For all who know life is precious, as well as those that are a bit rebellious! 

Dear Father Christmas, my Christmas list wish this year is for the merriment we share not to disappear.

Not to fade into the background and be tucked away, and be pulled out, in a year for only 1 day!

But, I ask it to be shared with others as a gift intends!
