🎇An Ode to Freedom🎇

Freedom is as freedom does. The sleekness of joy, and the usefulness of peace. I, for one, can’t tell you what freedom is because I haven’t felt it in a while, but I can tell you that Freedom is a state of mind I yearn to return to. A place that I desire to reside for the rest of my days. Freedom feels like that breeze in your freshly washed hair, like the striping of your clothes at the end of the day, like the calm of the ocean waves at your feet during high tide at sunset. Freedom feels like the non-constricting life that I hope for, the ability to go and come when I please, the option to hop on a plane, or hop off a bus, or even catch a train. Freedom feels like that unkemptness of the morning just before your shower, and the looseness of your shoe as you shake them from your feet!

Say, what does it feel like to you? Know that you are worthy. Know that you are faithful.  Know that Freedom is yours for the taking! A life of that which is free, is a life that knows no bounds. A life of that which is free, is one that has no limitations, a life full of endless possibilities! Freedom offers the opportunity to write that check to adventure and cash those coins of destiny! Give yourself the freedom you have so long desired to have! Freedom said, I’m yours if you’ll have me! I’m as loyal as a pet, as true as a friend, as genuine as love, and just as beautiful too!  It feels like that deep breath you need after a marathon run, that refreshing drink of water after a hard workout! Freedom is that elusive thought that fades ever so quickly and leaves you wondering what just happened! It’s that feeling that we all hope for but can’t quite put our finger on how to get to!  It’s what keeps eating at us when we’re in a rut! It’s the thing that we were born to do! Our “calling” if you will!

Freedom has that ring to it! It gives you a song to sing! Freedom leaves you wanting more. Freedom, with it, who can ignore the candor, the realness, the beauty, the splendor. It’s rich undertones of glorious hues, that illuminate the essence that is an unchained you! Freedom gives you the courage to fly, the wings to jump, and the nerve to soar! Freedom? What does it feel like? It feels like you, it feels like a dream, like aspirations, desires and above all, it feels like your idea of perfect! Whatever that may be for you!
