Vintage Barbie Boo
Hey, hey guys, happy Monday! How was your weekend?!! Awesome, I hope! Let me tell yall about mine! So, as you all know, I have a life coach, and her most recent recommendation, on the journey to peace in every area of my life, was to plan a monthly mini-vacation! And you know what? That was some of the most helpful advice! This month's mini vacay was to my sister's basketball game!
We ended up booking a hotel room for the night and turning it into a whole thing! Best decision ever! We stayed at an extended stay in the area, which was quite lovely for a spur-of-the-moment decision. We went up Saturday and stayed until Sunday! So Saturday night, we, of course, went to the game, and then we went out to eat at this place called Shoguns. I had never been, but it was delicious! What about you all? Have you ever heard of Shoguns? If so, have you ever eaten there? Do you like it? I, for one, thought it was pretty cool! They, cook your food Habachi style in front of you, but I think the most incredible part, is they put on a show while doing it! Our chef was quite entertaining, which made the experience that much better, I caught a broccoli floret in my mount! #BOSS LOL! We then headed back to my sister's place to catch up and talk about the game!
Oh yea, the game, they didn't win! BUT it's ok with a 5-2 record and ten more games; we are good! Sunday, we went to Loc's Chicken and waffles, and I had the Chicken tenders and waffles; let me say "WHEEW LAWD," that food was BOMB!! Lol, We then went souvenir shopping and headed back home! An this brings me to today! The FIT!! IDK if you guys know this or not, but I enjoy trying on clothes and putting different things together. I get so many questions about where I shop and find my pieces, and the answer is quite simple, I just find them; I don't have a particular place I go or thing I look for; I just find different pieces and put them together. It sounds a lot like this “Oh, that’s cute, hmm I’ll find something to go with it!”; For instance, today's outfit came from so many different places.

Vulnerable Moment:
In the past I have dressed to impress others instead of dressing for myself!
I love dressing up in colors and fun pieces because it allows my personality to shine through my clothes. For me, mixing colors, patterns, and decade pieces are what make me smile. In my opinion, fashion is what's on-trend now, and style is the way you put it all together! I consider myself to be both fashionable and stylish lol what do yall think? What about you? What is your style, and how did it come to develop? Does your style change regularly, or is it something that has remained constant over the years? My style has fluctuated a bit, I have always kept a flower in my hair, but there was a time when I was heavy on a vintage kick and wanted to re-do my entire wardrobe that way. Then I went into this sort of retro, vintage, classy type and I wore lots of scarves, corsets, pin-stripes, and the like! My style now is starting to settle out. I will keep adding pieces and mixing colors, but I think I have finally set my baseline! What about you? Let me know in the comments! in the meantime, enjoy my Monday outfit I call her Vintage Barbie Boo
