Face to face, toe to toe, with rest, peace experience and not just an existence. The exhilarating feeling of 1st and goal, the food dance of a burger you have waited so long to try, the intimate moments of love you share with your significant other, and the house divide of Alabama and Georgia! The ever so wondrous feeling of tailgating in the city, the once-in-a-lifetime experience of the season! Face to face with a choice between gratitude and graciousness, which do you pick! Facade of 1 face of 2. Face to face with yourself of today and the you from yesterday. Choosing to be the you of today for as long as strength provides! Crisp cool air, face to face with light rain and crowds of fans, face down, face off face to face with the choice to experience!

“Face to Face with Experiences”

Hey hey, beautiful people; happy Monday and good vibes to you! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and you were able to accomplish some goals! My weekend was dope, like aye! So you all remember last week when I told you that my life coach encouraged me to get out more and experience life and not just exist in it? Well, I have been trying to do just that! As you all know, last weekend, I went up to a Georgia Southern Women's basketball game! Well, this weekend, ya girl headed to Atlanta to watch the Dirty Birds take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers!! Whew Lawd! The game was yesterday and started at 1 pm! On Saturday, we went up and got a room so we wouldn't be battling traffic going up and getting through! Oh, yea! How about that Crimson Tide and those Bulldogs? What a season for Georgia, but they just couldn't take the cake from Alabama!!

But I digress, so we headed up on Saturday and got a room! Omg!! Y'all, this room was awful, now I am usually pretty good when it comes to picking hotel rooms and air BnB's, but I totally missed the mark with this one, and in all honesty, I was surprised because it had four stars 🤷🏾‍♀️! So we stayed at the Comfort Inn in Atlanta. FYI, if you ever visit Atlanta, steer clear of the Comfort Inn; the bathroom was gross, the mirror looked half washed, the windows looked like they were in the process of cleaning them got a phone call and forgot to come back. The air conditioning system looked like they took the lint from the dryer, made snow around the window base, and said, Merry Christmas, just horrible!

Y'all, it was so bad I had to go to the store and buy myself some Lysol wipes, scrubbing bubbles, and gloves and run the whole room through a washing machine! I will say this the bed was quite comfortable! After my cleaning debacle, we realized our stomachs were having a conversation with our brain, and we decided to interrupt that conversation with some SLUTTY VEGAN!! I was so excited about it too!! I tried to get some each time I visited Atlanta in the past, but the lines were insane, so I couldn't! But we had the chance to indulge this trip! And I must say, it met and exceeded all of my expectations!!

Vulnerable Moment:

My fear is that my realizations will only be temporary!

And the service was TOP TIER!! Everything about my first experience was phenomenal, and the energy was LITTT! I ordered the one-night stand, and my boyfriend got the sloppy hoppy; go figure! After we got our food, we went back to our room to catch the rest of the GA AL game! We ended up splitting our burgers to taste both, delicious! After our dinner, we called it a night and geared up to tomorrow's face off!! The next day, although the game didn't start until one, I know that ATL fans are insane, so we left our room at 10:30, and good thing we did! Although we went early, we didn't get to our seats until 12:16 lol ikr!!

So many situations transpired between parking the car and parking our bottoms in our seats! We got a parking spot for starters, and we set off on our trek toward the Mercedes Benz Stadium! Once there, we entered, and suddenly I felt a tug on my backpack shifting into fight mode. I ball my fist, lol! Realizing that one of the attendants was letting me know that I couldn't go in with my bag, I relaxed hahaha, I know, I know, calm down, tiny human🤣! I ended up having to hike back down a ramp and place my bag in a locker! So FYI, Mercedes Benz Stadium has a clear bag policy, so leave your bags in the car! After the bag is secured, lol see what I did there! After the bag is secured, we Hike back and head into the stadium! My awesome sister gifted us these tickets! Yep, she da' bomb!!

I got called a Slut and I liked it!!!

“Hey Sluts, We have a virgin from Columbus in the Building!”

So we get to our seats, and Mr. Brady is on the field just casually tossing the ball like he isn't the GOAT!! Lol! And we have made it to kick-off! 1st quarter The Bucs score, and the kick is good! Falcons, where are you! No rushing yards, very few pass yards. Matt, good pass! Dang spoke too soon, incomplete! Matt throw! Omg, he caught it run, run TOUCHDOWN Dirty Birds!!! The KICK is GOOD, and it's 7Up!! Q2 whew #90 out of nowhere, TOUCHDOWN DIRTY BIRDS! Omg, protect Matt like they do Tom. Sac 1 Sac 2 geeze! 1st and goal, they got it, they got it! ARE YOU KIDDING ME throwing? Run it!! Omg seriously! Annnndddd, the kick is good! End of the 2nd 13 to 10! Q3 Dirty Birds kick off, come on! Sac 3 Sac 4 Matt, are you ok?! Great pass, good catch, nice defense! Run, run, run TOUCHDOWN DIRTY BIRDS!!

End of the 3rd 27 to 17! Down by ten anxious, but the Dirty Bird fans are still cheering!! Sac 5 geeze, where is the protection! Rush, pass, run! 3rd down, first down Flag on the play holding, 10 yards penalty! 4th down, Omg!! Mr. Brady and the Bucs kick, AND IT'S GOOD!! End of game 30 to 17! Bucs for the win! Great experience and awesome time! Be sure you are making time for rest and relaxation this holiday season; you deserve it!! I will catch y'all Saturday on the Blue Moon Vibes podcast and then back here on Monday for my next bit of inspo!!
