Milestones
So I send her back an enthusiastic YES! Monday comes, and I arrive at my new location, and immediately I am hit with anxiety! I was so confused because I felt like I had been waiting for this for so long, and it was finally here, so if thought joy and relief would be my reaction, but no! When I got inside, I understood why anxiety was the selected response.
The Fight in YOU
Is it therapy, another set of hands, or do you just need to step back? What is it? I challenge you to learn what that something is and get it. You are the author of your life, so what does it look like. No one can motivate you as you can. I can tell you all day that you can do it and be your cheerleader, but ultimately the choice is yours. The decision to take action will come down to you. I will be here when you slip, slide, fall, and succeed, but without effort, none of those things will happen!
The Week, and the Strong
If you have never seen them live, I highly recommend adding that to your to-do list! I was then taken away to Panama City Beach for a weekend excursion! We went to the beach, met some pretty awesome beachgoers, we had dinner at Sake Japanese II muah-chef's kiss-, and Mr. Chen is fantastic! He really knows how to make you feel at home! After that, we headed back to the hotel, and we stayed up most of the night just chatting,

The Support
I have thought on many occasions maybe I'll get lucky and someone will drop an opportunity at my doorstep, or the growth of my businesses will just happen! NOPE, I have to make it happen. I am currently struggling with believing in myself enough to push through the rough patches, but my Chiropractor gave me some encouragement. She said, "You are going to be great, the world needs what you are building, and you have to give it to them"
Storyteller
I have battled with using "colorblind" as the connotation does get the point across, but the idea of a colorblind world disenfranchises the beauty of the world in the same breath. How, you ask? By eliminating the things that make the world great, our different cultures and ethnicities, the gorgeous hues of skin tones, the array of blackness in its many melanated shades.
My Struggles
So many times in life, we think things are happening to us when in reality, they are happening for us! I have battled with this thought many times over the last few days. I have pondered considerably if my losing this job was " just another part of life" or is it an opportunity for me to focus o building my non-profit! But, here is the thing about me! I need to have a plan,
Fired…AGAIN
My GOD is BIGGER than any job, and HE DID NOT give me that opportunity just to take it away. So I will trust him! I used my extra time on Friday to get over my nerves when speaking to people! I went to 8 businesses, and each time it got better, I got more confident, and the nerves were just a little less! As conflicted and confused, anxious and unsettled
